1950s Volupte U.S.A. Black Compact Case

Lovely vintage c. 1950s Volupte U.S.A. black rectangular compact powder case with carved cherubs in a gold frame on the cover. The compact case features a large mirror inside with a spring release compartment for the original powder makeup. There is a small fabric pouch to hold puff pads and a thin compartment that used to hold lipstick. It is quite heavy and well made.

Condition: very good vintage condition - a few faint scratches to the exterior. Lipstick compartment is very stiff but can be pulled out with some force.

Measurements: 5" long x 2.5" wide x .75" thick
